MoniDose targets three effects: nurse time released from dispensing back into patient care, fewer medication errors, and better medication documentation. The time estimate is 2.5–3.5 hours per nurse per day and comes from industry research, not from measurement on a MoniDose device. The safety effect comes from identifying the sachet before dispensing and dispensing from locked storage, so a wrong sachet or a wrong time is caught before the medicine reaches the patient. The documentation effect comes from every taken and missed dose being recorded automatically. The figures on this page are estimates; real-world impact is established during an actual deployment.
