Who is MoniDose for?

MoniDose suits a person on regular medication that a pharmacy packs into dose sachets, living at home, in assisted living or in a care home. It helps most when there are several medicines, several dose times a day, and doses are sometimes missed or taken at the wrong time. It does not require changing an existing dose-dispensing agreement, because the device accepts the sachet formats in common use in Finland. The 12-question assessment on this page is built on the domains of the international RAI assessment system — living environment, care support, cognition, medication, how medication is managed, and physical function — together with Finnish Käypä hoito guidelines. Answers stay in the browser for 24 hours. It does not replace a professional RAI assessment.

Pouch format compatibility

MoniDose is designed to work with multi-dose pouch rolls from Finnish pharmacy services. You do not need to change your existing pouch provider — the device accepts the most common formats.

What is this based on?

The questions and scoring are built on publicly available professional frameworks. This tool does not replace a formal RAI assessment performed by a healthcare professional.

This assessment does not replace advice from a physician or care staff. If medication management is causing concern, please contact your pharmacy or care provider first. An official RAI assessment is always performed by a trained professional.
